For centuries, Uzès has been anchored in history. From ancient times to the present day, the city has been shaped by the generations of Uzétians who have succeeded one another and who have kept it alive.
The streets were paved, the electric wires were hidden, and 12 hectares of the city were restored in 1965. Today, 41 hectares of the city are classified under the Malraux law.
